Manual Transmission Flywheel (6.0 LS0 / 7.0 LR0)


    Object Number: 214300  Size: SH
  1. Install the engine flywheel (1).
  2. Install the engine flywheel flexplate (2).
  3. Install the engine flywheel retainer (3).
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the engine flywheel bolts (4).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the flywheel bolts to 88 N·m (65 lb ft).

  4. Tighten
    Tighten the flywheel bolts to 88 N·m (65 lb ft).

Automatic Transmission Flywheel (6.0 LS0 / 7.0 LR0)

  1. Install an engine flywheel retainer (1) against the engine crankshaft.
  2. Install the engine flywheel (2).
  3. Install the an engine flywheel retainer (1) against the flywheel.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the engine flywheel bolts (3).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the flywheel bolts to 88 N·m (65 lb ft).
