J 3049-A Valve Lifter Remover

Important: Mark, sort, or organize the cylinder head components for return to their original location during assembly.

Place the valve lifters in a organizer rack or tag them in a way to ensure they can be returned to the valve lifter bore from which they were removed.
1. Remove the valve lifters.

Use a magnet in order to remove the valve lifters one at a time.




2. Some valve lifters may be stuck in their bore due to gum or varnish deposits. These valve lifters can be removed using J 3049-A .
