Some customers may comment on reduced brake pad/lining life.
Corrosion may restrict the brake booster pushrod lever from pivoting freely and cause the brakes to drag. If this condition goes undetected, it may result in reduced brake pad/lining life.
Replace the existing brake booster pushrod lever with a new lever, P/N 15014975. Lubricate all pivot points with high temperature grease, P/N 12345996 (In Canada use P/N 10953501). Follow the procedure below.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 68 N·m (50 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the nut (6) to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the nut/washer (4) to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).
