Some engines may experience rocker arm damage or rocker bridge damage following overhaul of the cylinder head if the valve bridge stud installed depth is incorrect.

Important: Ensure the twelve valve bridge studs are pressed into place using special tool J 43268 to a final height between 37 mm and 38 mm (1.46 in and 1.50 in). DO NOT exceed 38 mm (1.50 in).
