The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

ABS Control Module Parts Restriction

Since the last restriction we have made some quality improvements and we want to verify the improvements. Besides some software improvements we have improved the electronic service information. So starting on November 6, 2006 we will be putting the ECU's back on restriction for the following models GMT560 C-Series, Conventional Cab, GMC Topkick, Chevrolet Kodiak, GMT560 T/F- Series Tilt Cab, GMC F model, Chevrolet F-model.

We will be restricting the following ECU's.

Those Part Numbers are:

For the C/T- Model 2005/2006 F3 Air ABS/TCS Control Module: 88982731, 88982732, , 88982733, 88982734, 88982735, 88982736

For the C- Model 2005 Hydraulic ABS/TCS Control Modules : 889835852, 88935853, 88983893, 89059083.

For the C- Model 2006 Hydraulic ABS/TCS Control Modules : 88983893, 19133318, 19133321, 88983852
