Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.

    2. Object Number: 651721 Size: SH
  2. Remove the heater control assembly (1).

    3. Object Number: 651719 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the temperature control cable (1) from the HVAC module.
  4. Disconnect the temperature control cable (1) from the heater control assembly (3).
  5. Remove the temperature control cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Important: Verify the following conditions before performing the installation procedure:

   • Ensure that the center and RH control knobs are fully rotated counterclockwise.
   • Ensure that the heater module large door is open.
   • Ensure that the heater module small door is closed.

  1. Connect the temperature control cable to the HVAC module.

    2. Object Number: 651719 Size: SH
  2. Connect the temperature control cable (1) to the heater control assembly (3).

    3. Object Number: 651721 Size: SH
  3. Install the heater control assembly (1).
  4. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.
