Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 728079 Size: SH
  2. Pull the retaining tabs (1) toward the back of the vehicle in order to release the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) module (2).
  3. Remove the VSS module (2) from the instrument panel carrier.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the VSS module (2).
  5. Remove the VSS module (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 728079 Size: SH
  1. Install the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) module (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the VSS module (2).
  3. Position the VSS module (2) to the instrument panel carrier retaining tabs (1).
  4. Install the storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .
