The steering linkage consists of the following components:

    • The pitman arm
    • The connecting rod
    • The steering arms
    • Adjustable tie rod
    • The drag link

The turning motion of the steering wheel is transmitted through the steering gear and the pitman. The connecting rod is attached to the pitman arm and a adjustable sleeve which connects to the drag link. The drag link connects to the tie rod which transfers the turning force to the wheels. Use the tie rods in toe adjustment. The tie rods are adjustable. The tie rods are threaded into a tube and secured with clamps. Right and Left hand threads are used in order to permit the adjustment of toe.
