Steering Column Jacket - Assemble - Off Vehicle Column Shift


    Object Number: 723242 Size: SH
  1. Install the thrust washer (3).
  2. Install the upper bearing spring (2).
  3. Lubricate the turn signal cancel cam assembly (1) with synthetic grease.

    4. Install the turn signal cancel cam assembly (1).

  4. Install the shaft lock shield assembly.

    5. Object Number: 357433 Size: SH
  5. Install the new bearing retainer using J 23653-SIR .
  6. If the steering column has an inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Assemble - Off Vehicle .
  7. If the steering column does not have an inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
