Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 204574 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.

    2. Object Number: 204603 Size: SH
  2. Remove the two bolts from the inside of the door holding the top mirror brackets to the door.
  3. Remove the three bolts from the outside of the door holding the lower bracket to the door.
  4. Remove the mirror assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 204603 Size: SH
  1. Install the mirror to the door.
  2. Install the two bolts.
  3. Install the washers.
  4. Install the gasket.

    5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the crown nuts at the top of the door.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the mirror to door nuts to 32 N·m (23 lb ft).

  6. Install the three bolts through the lower mirror bracket into the outside of the door.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the mirror to door bolts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  7. Connect the electrical connector, if equipped.
