Removal Procedure
- Open the floor console door.
- Insert a small suitably prying device to remove the lock cylinder retainer clip.
- Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it to the locked position.
- If the key is lost the rivet must be ground off and the lock arm must be removed in order to allow the proper clearance for the lock cylinder removal.
- Push with your fingers on the lock cylinder in order to remove.
Installation Procedure
- Insert the lock cylinder into the console door, make sure the lock cylinder is in the locked position for insertion.
- Push the lock cylinder all the way in until it seats into the cavity.
- Insert the retainer clip into the lock cylinder and push to seat the clip into the retainer cavity.
