Park Brake Hardware Inspection for Chevrolet Chevy C Cab/Chassis HD (GMT 400) 2006

1. Remove the park brake drum. Refer to Propeller Shaft Parking Brake Drum Replacement in Park Brake.



2. Visually inspect the park brake hardware for the following:

•	Excessive corrosion

•	Excessive stretching

•	Broken components

•	Bent components

•	Twisting or binding

•	Missing components

3. If any of the conditions listed were found, the park brake hardware requires replacement. Refer to Park Brake Hardware Replacement in Park Brake.
