NEW ONE PIECE OIL PAN GASKET FOR 1985 TRUCK W/ 4.3L ENGINE

Model and Year: ALL 1985 C, K, C, AND EL CAMlNO EQUIPPED WITH 4.3L V6 ENGINE (VIN CODE N)

TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

1985 C, K, G, and El Camino model trucks equipped with the 4.3L V6 engine (VIN Code N) and built after July 1, 1985, have a new one-piece oil pan gasket that replaces the four-piece gasket previously used. This new one-piece gasket, offers improved oil pan sealing and can be used on all 1985 4.3L engines.

If the oil pan is removed for any reason, the one-piece gasket should be used when reinstalling the oil pan.
