INFORMATION ON ORDERING TAILAMP ASSEMBLY BULBS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988-90 C1, C2, C3, K1, K2, K3

At the beginning of 1990 C/K Production a new tail lamp assembly went into use on all C/K trucks. The new tail lamp assembly part numbers are 16511565 and 16511566 left hand and right hand respectively. These parts are used to service all 1988-89-90 C/K models. The new tail lamp assemblies that are shipped from CANSPO do not come with bulbs and the bulbs used in the previous tail lamp assemblies do not fit into the new tail lamp assemblies. The new bulbs are insert moulded wedge based.

The top two bulbs are: GM PART NUMBER 9441839 American National Standard Information PART NUMBER 3057

The third bulb is: GM PART NUMBER 9442003 American National Standard Information PART NUMBER 3156

ANSI are industry numbers and can be procured at local automotive suppliers or electronic stores
