1. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement or Power Steering Pump Replacement or Power Steering Pump Replacement .
2. Protect the drive shaft (4) with a shim stock (3).
3. Cut the seal (1) with a chisel in order to remove it.

Tools Required

J 7728 Shaft Oil Seal Installer CB Series Pump

1. Lubricate the seal (1) with power steering fluid.
2. Install the seal (1) using the J 7728 .
3. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement or Power Steering Pump Replacement or Power Steering Pump Replacement .
