Door Trim Panel Replacement Front

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door handle bezel. Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement .
  2. Remove the window handle, as necessary. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .
  3. Remove the power accessory switch panel. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the trim panel screws.
  5. Remove the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement .

  6. Object Number: 348452  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the courtesy light connector, if necessary.
  8. Remove door panel screws.
  9. Remove the trim panel from the door, carefully sliding the trim panel up to release the retainers from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the courtesy light connector, if necessary.
  2. Install the trim panel to the door by carefully aligning and sliding the panel down into the retainer slots.
  3. Install the window handle, as necessary. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .
  4. Install the power accessory switch panel, as necessary. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the trim panel screws.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the trim panel armrest screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the door handle bezel. Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement .

Door Trim Panel Replacement Side Access

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door handle bezel. Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement .

  3. Remove the trim panel armrest screws.

  4. Object Number: 370137  Size: SH
  5. Remove the trim panel from the door by carefully sliding the panel up.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the trim panel to the door by carefully sliding the trim panel down into the retainer slots.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.   3. Install the trim panel armrest screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the trim panel armrest screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the door handle bezel. Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement .
