- Close all of the doors.
- Connect a scan tool.
- Turn the ignition to the ON position.
- Using the scan tool, inspect for any DTCs in the body control
module (BCM).

| Remove and inspect the MIR/LOCK fuse.
Is the fuse open?

- Locate and repair CKT 2140 (ORN), CKT 194 (WHT) or CKT 195 (LT
BLU) wire for a short to ground.
- Replace the fuse.

- Locate and repair the CKT 295 (GRY) or CKT 694 (TAN) wire for
a short to ground.
- Replace the fuse.

- Re-install both of the fuses.
- Remove the lock relay.
- Using the J 35616-A adapter, connect a self powered test lamp
from terminal 87A of the relay socket ground.
Does the test lamp light?

and repair the CKT 1850 (BLK) wire for a open to ground, G203.

- Using the J 35616-A adapter, connect a fused jumper wire from
terminal 30 to 87A of the relay socket.
- Depress the switch in order to the unlock position.
Do the doors unlock?
