Brake Pad and Rotor Burnishing for Chevrolet Chevy C Silverado - 2WD 1999

After replacing the brake linings and/or refinishing rotors, you should burnish the new braking surface. In order to burnish, make 20 stops from 48 km (30 mph) using a medium to firm brake pedal pressure. Be careful not to overheat the brakes while performing the burnishing procedure.
