Removal Procedure
  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Remove the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .
  3. Drain the master cylinder reservoir.

    4. Object Number: 363760 Size: SH
  4. Clamp the master cylinder to a bench vice.
  5. Using a hammer and a drift punch remove the roll pins securing the reservoir to the master cylinder. Discard the roll pins.

    6. Object Number: 363761 Size: SH
  6. Firmly grasp the reservoir. Pull the reservoir upward in order to disengage the reservoir from the master cylinder.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 363761 Size: SH
  1. Install the master cylinder reservoir to the master cylinder by pushing the reservoir into the master cylinder bores. Apply pressure until the master cylinder reservoir snaps into place.

    2. Object Number: 363760 Size: SH
  2. Using a hammer and a drift punch install new roll pins to the master cylinder.
  3. Remove the master cylinder to a bench vice.
  4. Install the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .
  5. Release the parking brake.
  6. Bleed the brakes. Refer to Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed Procedure in Antilock Brake System.
