Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the manifold sight shield (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L). Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L.

    2. Object Number: 382483 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L).

    3. Object Number: 346148 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.3L).
  4. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose at the vacuum booster.
  5. Remove the vacuum brake booster hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 382483 Size: SH
  1. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L).

    2. Object Number: 346148 Size: SH
  2. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.3L).
  3. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the vacuum booster.
  4. Install the manifold sight shield (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L). Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L.
