Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

  3. Object Number: 372310  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the air inlet actuator.

  5. Object Number: 363769  Size: SH
  6. Remove the mounting screws from the air inlet valve.

  7. Object Number: 391381  Size: SH
  8. Remove the air inlet actuator. Refer to Air Inlet Actuator Replacement .
  9. Remove the air inlet valve.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 391381  Size: SH
  1. Install the air inlet valve.
  2. Install the air inlet actuator. Refer to Air Inlet Actuator Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 363769  Size: SH
  4. Install the mounting screws to the air inlet valve.

  5. Object Number: 372310  Size: SH
  6. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the air inlet actuator.
  7. Install the HVAC module. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable.
