Go to Diagnostic System Check - Theft Deterrent

1. Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.
2. With the scan tool, command the Security message ON and OFF.

Does the Security message turn ON and OFF with each command?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System

Go to Step 3

Replace the Instrument Cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
