The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Service technicians may notice when replacing the transmission pump to pump support separator plate P/N 29541148 (listed as fluid pump separator plate in the parts catalog), the replacement plate may appear to have differences. Some parts catalog systems seem to also recommend a replacement valve P/N 29541138, needed when this plate is used.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The replacement spacer plate may appear different but is a direct replacement for the previous design and there are no additional parts required. Please disregard any notes in the parts catalog that specifies additional valves are required. This error in the parts catalog has been corrected and will appear in a future update.
