The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some owners may comment on a Clack/Rattle type noise when driving over rough roads. The noise may become more noticeable if the brakes are applied. In some cases, the noise has been described as the sound of rail road car wheels on a train track. This noise may be caused by the left or right rear #3 cab mount washer contacting the frame.
Recommendation/Instructions:
A new redesigned #3 cab mount washer has been developed. To correct this concern, replace it with part number 15854745.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
