Generator Battery Control Module Replacement for Chevrolet Chevy C Silverado - 2WD 2006

1. Disconnect the generator battery carrier. Refer to Hybrid Battery Service Disconnect/Connect .
2. Remove the generator battery carrier intermediate cover. Refer to Battery Cover Replacement .
3. Remove the control module nuts.
4. Lift the control module up off of the studs.
5. Disconnect the control module electrical connectors.
6. Remove the control module.

1. Connect the control module electrical connectors.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the control module.
3. Install the control module nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

4. Install the generator battery carrier intermediate cover. Refer to Battery Cover Replacement .
5. Program the generator battery control module. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
