The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some customers may comment on a creak or click noise from the front of the vehicle when turning left and accelerating from a stop. This concern could be caused by a metal to metal contact between the left engine mount and center retaining bolt. During a visual inspection signs of the engine mount contacting the head of the center retaining bolt will be seen.

Recommendation/Instructions:

To correct this concern replace the left engine mount. The area of the mount which was contacting the head of the center retaining bolt has been changed to provide additional clearance.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
