Some 1988-90 C/K Trucks may experience a condition where the window will not seat properly in the window channel when raising the window at highway speed (ABOVE 45 MPH). This condition can create a poor window seal and customer comments regarding increased wind noise.
TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION:
A new window channel clip with a revised ramp angle has been released.
1. Roll down window.
2. Pull back window weatherstrip to expose channel clip rivets.
3. Drill out rivets and remove channel clip.
4. Position new channel clip where old one was and rivet using rivet part number 15562787 or comparable.
5. Reposition weatherstrip.
