Fuel Hose/Pipes Assembly Replacement Chassis to Tank

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 738174 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fuel tank (2). Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .

    2. Notice: Do not attempt to straighten any kinked nylon fuel lines. Replace any kinked nylon fuel feed or return pipes in order to prevent damage to the vehicle.

  2. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel sender assembly (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Disconnect the fuel lines from the clips (3) on the fuel tank.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the fuel lines to the clips (3) on the fuel tank.

    2. Notice: Do not attempt to straighten any kinked nylon fuel lines. Replace any kinked nylon fuel feed or return pipes in order to prevent damage to the vehicle.

  2. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel sender assembly (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Install the fuel tank (2). Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
