Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1698255 Size: SH
  1. Remove the center brush guard. Refer to Center Radiator Grille Brush Guard Replacement .
  2. Remove the brush guard end. Refer to Outer Radiator Grille Brush Guard Replacement .
  3. Remove the bolts (1) from the end cap brace. If the right side is being removed the ground cable must also be removed.
  4. Remove the blackout (B/O) marker lamp. Refer to Front Blackout Marker Lamp Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 1700819 Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolts (1) from the end cap brace.
  6. Remove the end cap from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1700819 Size: SH
  1. Install the end cap to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts (1) to the end cap.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 88-98 N·m (65-72 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1698255 Size: SH
  3. Install the bolts (1) to the end cap brace. If the right side is being installed the ground cable must also be installed.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the blackout (B/O) marker lamp. Refer to Front Blackout Marker Lamp Replacement .
  5. Install the brush guard end. Refer to Outer Radiator Grille Brush Guard Replacement .
  6. Install the center brush guard. Refer to Center Radiator Grille Brush Guard Replacement .
