2	Turn the ignition to the OFF position. Disconnect the scan tool from the Data Link Connector (DLC). Disconnect C1 from the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). Connect a J 39200 DMM between terminal F of the EBCM and terminal 12 of the DLC. Is continuity present?	--	Go to Step 3	Go to Step 4
3	Replace the EBCM. Is the repair complete?	--	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Data Link Communications	--
4	Locate and repair the open or cause of resistance in CKT 799 (TAN/WHT) between the EBCM and the DLC. Refer to Wiring Repairs . Is the repair complete?	--	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Data Link Communications	--
