Upper Intake Manifold

    Object Number: 276390 Size: SH
  1. Remove the throttle body nuts.

    2. Object Number: 276386 Size: SH
  2. Remove the throttle body.

    3. Object Number: 276417 Size: SH
  3. Remove and discard the throttle body gasket.
  4. Remove the throttle body studs, if required.

    5. Object Number: 276413 Size: SH

    Important: Note the position of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve before removal. It is possible to improperly install the EGR valve 180 degrees from the original position.

  5. Remove the EGR valve bolts.

    6. Notice: The Linear EGR valve is an electrical component. DO NOT soak in any liquid cleaner or solvent because damage may result.

  6. Remove the EGR valve.
  7. Remove the EGR gasket.

  8. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge valve bolts.
  9. Remove the EVAP purge valve.

Lower Intake Manifold

    Object Number: 19673 Size: SH
  1. Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor nut, retainer and the MAP sensor.

    2. Object Number: 276370 Size: SH
  2. Remove the fuel rail bolts and stud.

    3. Object Number: 276369 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel rail.

    4. Object Number: 180908 Size: SH
  4. Remove the coolant outlet housing bolts, coolant outlet housing housing and thermostat.

    5. Object Number: 181035 Size: SH
  5. Remove the coolant temperature sensor hole plug from the lower intake manifold.
