Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 202530  Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct from the air cleaner assembly (1). Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.
  2. Loosen the clamp from the air cleaner outlet front duct and remove the duct from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.

  3. Object Number: 202530  Size: SH
  4. Remove the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement in Engine Controls.
  5. Remove the bolts (9) from the support bracket assembly (3).
  6. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 202530  Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement in Engine Controls.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly (1) to the support bracket assembly (3).
  3. Install the bolts (9).
  4. Install the nut (2).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the air cleaner outlet front duct into the air cleaner assembly and tighten the clamp. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.
  7. Install the air cleaner resonator outlet duct to the the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.
