Removal Procedure
  1. Position the front wheels and the steering wheel straight ahead.

    2. Object Number: 247463 Size: SH
  2. Place a container under the power steering gear to catch any fluid.
  3. Remove the pressure relief valve (2) and the O-ring (1).
  4. Unscrew the top and bottom end limiter poppets.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 247463 Size: SH
  1. Install the top and bottom end limiter poppets.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the end limiter poppets to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Install the pressure relief valve (2) and the O-ring (1).
  3. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid and Power Steering System Bleeding .
