Action

Foamy, milky power steering fluid caused by air in the fluid.

Important: Extremely cold temperatures will cause system aeration if the power steering fluid level is low.

Check for leaks and correct. Refer to External Leakage Check and Locating Fluid Leaks .

Low power steering fluid levels and possible low pressure caused by internal pump leakage, or hose (air) leakage in the reservoir line.
