Engine Identification for Chevrolet Chevy P42 Commercial Chassis 1998
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is located on the
left side rear of the engine block (near the transmission bellhousing) and
typically is a nine digit number stamped onto the engine at the vehicle assembly
plant.
