1. Turn the ignition switch to the ACCY or RUN position.
2. Turn the wiper/washer switch to the HIGH position.
3. Use a J 39200 DMM in order to backprobe the wiper/washer switch pigtail from cavity C to B+. Refer to Using Connector Test Adapters in Wiring Systems.
4. Measure the voltage.

Is the voltage greater than the specified value?

10.0 V

Go to Step 3

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column-Tilt.

1. Use a J 39200 DMM in order to backprobe the windshield wiper pulse control module from cavity C to B+.
2. Measure the voltage.

Is the voltage greater than the specified value?

10.0 V

Replace the windshield wiper pulse control module.
