Brake Pad and Rotor Burnishing for Chevrolet Chevy P52 RV/Van Chassis 1997

After brake linings have been replaced and/or rotors have been refinished, the new braking surface should be broken in or "burnished." This is done by making 20 stops from 50 km/h (30 mph) using medium to firm pedal pressure. During this procedure, use care in order to avoid overheating the brakes.
