Check the reservoir line for hose leakage and air leakage.

Is leakage evident?

Replace any affected parts.

Is the level low?

  1. Remove the power steering pump.
  2. Separate the reservoir from the housing.
  3. Check the welsh plug and the housing for cracks.
  4. Replace the housing if the housing is cracked or the plug is loose.
