For 1990-2009 cars only
- Drill a hole in the top of a discarded reservoir cap.
- Insert a piece of 4.7 mm (3/16 in) pipe. The pipe should extend no more than 13 mm (0.5 in) below the bottom of the cap.
- Solder the pipe in place. Ensure that the solder makes a complete seal around the pipe.
- Attach a 1.8 M (6 ft) length of hydraulic hose to the pipe and clamp in place. Ensure that the hose has the appropriate inner diameter to fit over the pipe.
