DETENT SUPPORTING SPRING PRODUCTION DESIGN CHANGE

BEGINNING MARCH 13, 1981, THE FOLLOWING THM 400 TRANSMISSION MODELS WERE BUILT WITH A NEW DESIGN MANUAL DETENT SUPPORT SPRING (SEE FIGURE NO. 1). TRANSMISSION MODEL FF TRUCKMODEL/ENGINE OPTION K-2500 W/L25-4.8 LITER (292 C.I.D.) TRANSMISSION MODEL FH TRUCKMODEL/ENGINE OPTION K-2500 W/LS9-5.7 LITER (350 C.I.D.) TRANSMISSION MODEL FN TRUCKMODEL/ENGINE OPTION K-3500 W/LE8-7.4 LITER (454 C.I.D.) TRANSMISSION MODEL FQ TRUCKMODEL/ENGINE OPTION C/G/P-2500 W/L25-4.8 LITER (292 C.I.D.) TRANSMISSION MODEL FW TRUCKMODEL/ENGINE OPTION K-2500 W/LT9-5.7 LITER (350 C.I.D.) TRANSMISSION MODEL FY TRUCKMODEL/ENGINE OPTION P/K-3500 W/L25-4.8 LITER (292 C.I.D.) THE MANUAL DETENT SUPPORT SPRING, P/N 8633096, IS ASSEMBLED ON TOP OF THE MANUAL DETENT ROLLER AND SPRING ASSEMBLY.
