1. Release the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (engine OFF).

Brake warning indicator remains OFF.

1. Turn the Ignition Switch to START then back to ON (allow the engine to idle).
2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Brake Warning Indicator remains OFF when ignition switch is in the ON or the START positions.

1. Return the ignition switch back to ON.
2. Set the parking brake.
3. Release the parking brake.

Brake Warning Indicator remains ON only when the parking brake is set.
