🢒 Heater Hoses Replacement
Heater Hoses Replacement Diesel
Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.
Loosen the clamps at the heater core at the cowl.
Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core at the cowl.
Loosen the clamp at the radiator.
Disconnect the heater hose at the radiator.
Loosen the clamp at the engine.
Disconnect the heater hose at the engine.
Installation Procedure
Connect the heater hose to the engine.
Tighten the clamp to the heater hose.
Connect the heater hose to the radiator.
Tighten the clamp to the heater hose.
Connect the heater hoses to the heater core at the cowl.
Tighten the clamps to the heater hoses.
Service the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.
Heater Hoses Replacement Diesel W/Auxiliary Heat
Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.
Loosen the clamps at the heater core.
Disconnect the front heater hoses from the heater core at the cowl.
Loosen the clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Disconnect the front heater hoses from the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Loosen the clamp at the radiator.
Disconnect the heater hose at the radiator.
Loosen the clamp at the engine.
Disconnect the heater hose at the engine.
Loosen the clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Disconnect the main heater hoses from the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Installation Procedure
Connect the heater hose to the engine.
Tighten the clamp at the engine.
Connect the heater hose to the radiator.
Tighten the clamp at the radiator.
Connect the main heater hoses to the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Tighten the clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Connect the front heater hoses to the heater core at the cowl.
Tighten the clamps at the heater core.
Connect the front heater hoses to the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Tighten the clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Service the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.

Removal Procedure
Tools Required

Heater Link Quick Connect Separator
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.
Loosen the clamps at the cowl.
Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core at the cowl.
Loosen the clamp at the water pump.
Disconnect the heater hose at the water pump.
Using the
J 38723
, disconnect the heater hose at the engine.
Installation Procedure
Connect the heater hose to the engine.
Connect the heater hose to the water pump.
Tighten the hose clamp.
Connect the heater hoses to the heater core at the cowl.
Tighten the hose clamps.
Service the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.
Heater Hoses Replacement Gas W/Auxiliary Heat
Removal Procedure
Tools Required

Heater Line Quick Connect Separator
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.
Loosen the clamps at the heater core.
Disconnect the front heater hoses from the heater core at the cowl.
Loosen the clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Disconnect the front heater hoses from the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Loosen the clamp at the water pump.
Disconnect the heater hose at the water pump.
Using the
J 38723
, disconnect the heater hose at the engine.
Loosen the clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Disconnect the main heater hoses from the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Installation Procedure
Connect the heater hose to the engine.
Connect the heater hose to the water pump.
Tighten the hose clamp at the water pump.
Connect the main heater hoses to the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Tighten the hose clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Connect the front heater hoses to the heater core at the cowl.
Tighten the hose clamps at the heater core.
Connect the front heater hoses to the fittings at the rear heater pipes.
Tighten the hose clamps at the rear heater pipes.
Service the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
in Engine Cooling.
