  1. Disconnect the cigar lighter electrical connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the cigar lighter electrical connector, cavity B and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 43 (YEL).

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Connect a test lamp between cavity B and cavity A on the cigar lighter electrical connector.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Replace the cigar lighter.

Repair the open or short to battery in CKT 150 (BLK).
