Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 290874 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) compartment door.
  2. Remove the IP compartment striker. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Lock Striker Replacement .
  3. Remove the IP compartment bezel liner screws.
  4. Remove the IP compartment bezel.
  5. Unsnap the vent screen from the IP compartment bezel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 290874 Size: SH
  1. Snap the vent screen to the IP compartment bezel.
  2. Install the IP compartment bezel with the screws.
  3. Install the IP compartment striker. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Lock Striker Replacement .
  4. Install the IP compartment door.
  5. Adjust the door striker assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Lock Striker Adjustment .
