  1. Place the ignition switch in RUN.
  2. Remove the audio alarm module.
  3. Connect a test lamp from the audio alarm module terminal K4 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 39 (PNK) between the audio alarm module and the IP fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Unfasten the driver seat belt.
  2. Connect a test lamp from the audio alarm module K1 to B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the audio alarm module.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Disconnect the seat belt switch connector C211.
  2. Connect a test lamp between Terminal A of the seat belt switch connector C211 and B+.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Locate and repair the open in the CKT 150 (BLK) wire between the seat belt switch connector and ground.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Connect a jumper wire between terminals A and B of the seat belt switch connector C211.
  2. Connect a self-powered test lamp between the audio alarm module terminal K1 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 9

Replace the seat belt switch.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Locate and repair the open in CKT 238 (BLK/WHT) between the seat belt switch and the audio alarm module.

Is the repair complete?

System OK
