Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 290875 Size: SH
  1. Open the instrument panel (IP) compartment door.
  2. Remove the IP compartment door latch screws.
  3. Remove the latch assembly from the IP compartment door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 290875 Size: SH
  1. Install the latch assembly to the IP compartment door with the screws.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the IP compartment door latch screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  2. Adjust the door striker assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Lock Striker Adjustment .
  3. Close the IP compartment door.
