  1. Disconnect the connector at the remote control door lock receiver.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 150 (BLK) at the remote control door receiver connector cavity N and B+

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

  1. Locate the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the remote control door lock receiver and ground G202
  2. Repair the open.
  3. Inspect the system.

Is the remote keyless entry system still inoperative?

--

Go to Step 5

System OK

  1. Connect a test lamp between the remote control door receiver connector cavity J and ground.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

  1. Locate the open in CKT 39 (PNK) between the remote control door receiver and the IP fuse block.
  2. Repair the open.
  3. Inspect the system.

Is the remote keyless entry system still inoperative?

Connect a test lamp between door lock receiver connector cavity F and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 9

  1. Locate the open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the remote control door lock receiver connector cavity F and the IP fuse block.
  2. Repair the open.
  3. Inspect the system.

Is the remote keyless entry system still inoperative?

Connect a test lamp between the remote control door lock receiver connector cavity E and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 11

  1. Locate the open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the remote control door lock receiver connector cavity E and the IP fuse block.
  2. Repair the open.
  3. Inspect the system.

Is the remote keyless entry system still inoperative?

System OK

  1. Disconnect the connector at the door lock relay.
  2. Connect a test lamp between door lock relay connector cavity D and B+.

Did the test lamp light?

Go to Step 13

  1. Locate the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the door relay and ground G202.
  2. Repair the open.
  3. Inspect the system.

Is the remote keyless entry system still inoperative?

System OK

Connect a test lamp between the door lock relay connector cavity C and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Go to Step 15

  1. Locate the open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the door lock relay and the IP fuse block.
  2. Repair the open.
  3. Inspect the system.

Is the remote keyless entry system still inoperative?

  1. Reconnect the remote control door lock receiver connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 194 (WHT) at door lock relay connector cavity A and ground.
  3. Push the LOCK button on the remote transmitter.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Replace the door lock relay.
  2. Inspect the system.
