  1. Disconnect the connector at the door lock relay.
  2. Connect a test lamp between cavity A of the door lock relay connector and ground.
  3. Press the UNLOCK button on the transmitter.

Did the test lamp light?

  1. Disconnect the connector at the remote control door lock receiver.
  2. Connect a self-powered test lamp between connector cavity B of the remote control door lock receiver and connector cavity A of the door lock relay.

Did the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Replace the remote control door lock receiver.

Is the symptom still present?

--

Go to Step 5

System OK

Repair the open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between the door lock relay and the remote control door lock receiver.

Is the symptom still present?

Go to Step 5

System OK

  1. Disconnect the connector at the left front door lock motor.
  2. Connect a self-powered test lamp between connector cavity B of the right front door lock motor and connector cavity B of the door lock relay.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the door lock relay.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 294 (TAN) between the door lock relay and splice S258.

Is the repair complete?
