SLOW POWER TAILGATE WINDOW JIMMY AND BLAZER

Model and Year: 1984-85 C/K AND 1986-88 R/V

Some 1984-85 C/K and 1986-88 R/V Blazer models equipped with a power tailgate window may experience slow window operation.

To address this condition, a new tailgate window regulator and cable assembly is now available. Prior to installing these new parts, perform the procedures described in Chevrolet Dealers Service Bulletin 87-T-51, dated January, 1987, Section 10.

The service procedure for removing and installing the tailgate window regulator and cable are described in Section 10A5 of the Service Manual. The location of the new cable assembly is shown in Figure 1.
