SUBJECT: REFRIGERANT AND OIL CAPACITY

MODEL and YEAR: 1992 C/K TRUCKS

SERVICE UPDATE

The air conditioning system refrigerant and oil requirements have been revised as shown below:

1. Refrigerant - 12 .Pickup Models - 1.134 kg (2.5 lbs.) .Crew Cab, Suburban, and Utility Models - 1.361 kg (3.0 lbs.) .Suburban Models with Aux. A/C - 1.928 kg (4.25 lbs.)

2. 525 Viscosity Refrigerant Oil .Without Aux. A/C - 240 ml (8 fl. oz.) .With Aux. A/C - 330 ml (11 fl. oz.)

*Overcharging a system may allow liquid Refrigerant - 12 to get into the compressor, causing compressor noise and damage. Undercharging will cause insufficient cooling
